These banners ads and brand positioning platform were created for an organization working to protect the farm bill compact—a conservation program that rewards farmers for employing commonsense conservation practices to protect public health and the future of the land.
Covering more than half of the country, America’s farms and ranches are more than just our country’s source of food and fiber; they also affect the quality of our air, water and wildlife habitat. That’s why our agriculture community overwhelmingly supports the farm bill compact—a conservation program that says farmers who receive federal funds must employ commonsense conservation practices to protect public health and the future of our land. And for the past 25 years, thousands of farmers have held up their side of the bargain—strengthening their farming practices while also helping to keep our air clean, our water fresh and our soil healthy. But now big agriculture corporations and their backers in Congress want to break this compact and repeal the 25-year old farm bill. Not only does this threaten the strength of American agriculture, it also hurts the environment and endangers public health. We cannot let that happen. We need to stand with our family farmers. We must grow more good.
